Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Active state licensure or eligibility
- CCC-SLP certification, or qualifying for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support students’ academic and social success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and school-related activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development
