School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Santa Maria, California

Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting! This onsite contract position will support students with mild to moderate needs across two school locations, providing dynamic experiences and variety in your weekly schedule. You’ll spend three days per week at one campus and two days at another, serving a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students.
Clinical Fellows are welcome—supervision will be provided to guide your professional growth. This SLP position is exclusively direct (onsite); there is no need to supervise assistants, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Clinical Fellowship applicants welcome; supervision will be arranged
- Experience with elementary-aged children preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
- Commitment to supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide therapy and intervention for a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies and regulations
