We are seeking experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to provide service across several caseloads in the Long Beach and Pasadena areas. With the flexibility of a contract position, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals and impact students at high school, non-public, and private school sites.
Bring your expertise in SLP care—whether your background is in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school-based roles. Both experienced SLPs and those working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Your skills will empower students to achieve their communication goals and thrive in academic environments.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status
- Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage one of multiple full-time caseloads: High School, Non-Public School, or Private School
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state/District standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts
- Provide services in person or via teletherapy, as needed
