Elementary Middle School School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Schaumburg, Illinois

You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and a supportive leadership team in a vibrant school community, working onsite with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. All first-year SLPs, including those completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), are encouraged to apply—this is a fantastic setting to develop your skills and make a significant difference.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SL endorsement
- Willingness to work onsite in a school-based setting
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations (K–12)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for K–12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy and interventions tailored to students' needs in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow school and state guidelines for compliance
