Elementary Middle School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arlington Heights, IL

With a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you’ll partner with educators and families to ensure each student receives tailored support that nurtures their communication skills and academic development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech Language endorsement (ISBE PEL with SL)
- Current Illinois State License (IDFPR)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations
- New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in person to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement IEPs based on student strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Document interventions, assessments, and progress in compliance with school and state regulations
- Engage in ongoing professional development to support effective practices
