Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Saratoga Springs, NY

Make a difference in the lives of young children by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive, school-based setting. You’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, serving preschoolers ages 3-5, helping them build foundational communication and language skills that set them up for success in school and life. This is a contract position located near Saratoga Springs, NY, ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric speech-language pathology.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current New York SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in schools or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for early childhood speech and language development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged children with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions and adjust intervention strategies as needed for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and therapy outcomes in accordance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support carryover of communication goals
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
