Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in working within school-based or pediatric populations
- Skilled in teletherapy platforms and comfortable managing virtual caseloads
- Healthcare SLP experience and familiarity with educational best practices are highly valued
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and communication challenges across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in close collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and licensure standards
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities to deliver high-quality services
- Offer support and education to teachers and family members to foster student development
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, sharing expertise to optimize student outcomes
