Required Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP licensure
- Previous experience serving school-aged children, particularly those with moderate-to-severe needs
- Skilled in supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Comfortable working with multilingual populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students in both individual and group settings
- Assess, develop, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding AAC devices and communication strategies
- Adapt techniques and materials to support students’ diverse needs and backgrounds
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where all students can thrive
