What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Your Day-to-Day Impact:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to track progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise during IEP meetings and consultations
- Offer training and support to academic teams and families on speech-language development
