Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility for California licensure)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and support their development
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapies to students in a school setting
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, ensuring high standards of clinical care
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
