Speech Language Pathologist in Los Angeles, CA
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist during the 24/25 school year! Two contract positions are available, working with preschool and elementary-aged children in a dynamic, collaborative school environment near Los Angeles, CA.
You'll work a stable schedule—five days a week, eight hours per day—delivering vital speech and language services on-site. Collaborate with other enthusiastic professionals to help students reach their communication goals and maximize their educational experiences.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Prior experience with preschool and/or elementary-aged students preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working on-site for the full 24/25 academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Provide therapy in both individual and small group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
