Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with ESY or summer school programming
  • Strong interpersonal skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to create and track individualized therapy plans

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students participating in ESY services
  • Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for communication needs
  • Document student progress and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support educational progress
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and achievements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
