Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Long Beach, CA

Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License required
- Open to SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates
- Prior experience in school-based therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of conducting assessments and participating in IEPs
- Ability to manage a caseload of 55 students across elementary and middle grades
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy sessions to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Actively participate and present at IEP meetings
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Adapt and modify therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain compliance with all school, district, and state regulations
