Speech Language Pathologist in Whittier, CA

Make a meaningful impact working with elementary and middle school students in a supportive school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to start immediately and continue through June 2026, working with a caseload of approximately 55 students. You'll have the chance to contribute your expertise, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students develop essential communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active CA SLP license required
- Open to SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates
- Strong background in completing assessments and evaluations
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and present at meetings
- Skills in school-based speech therapy interventions, with experience at the elementary or middle school level
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a school setting
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans, prepare and present IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive learning environment
Compensation and Benefits: Earn $60 per hour for a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with the stability of a contract through June 2026.
