A contract assignment is available for a caring and skilled professional to serve elementary and middle school students. Start as soon as possible and continue through June 2026, providing essential support and interventions that will help students thrive in their academic and social journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License (CA SLP License) required
- Open to SLPs with CCC, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or relevant school-based SLP experience
- Strong understanding of school-based speech-language therapy practices
- Able to conduct assessments, complete IEPs, and attend/present at IEP meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Compassion for working with diverse student populations
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy for a caseload of 55 elementary and middle school students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, preparing and presenting necessary documentation
- Maintain thorough, timely records to meet compliance standards
- Offer consultative support to school staff as needed
This opportunity is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, making a meaningful difference while working on a predictable schedule. You’ll also receive a pay rate of $60 per hour, paid weekly.
