Desired Qualifications:
- Valid FL State License
- SLP-CCC certification from ASHA
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences Disorders, or a closely related field
- Prior school-based experience (middle school preferred)
- Able to pass district background check, fingerprinting, and all credentialing requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students in grades 6–8
- Assess and treat communication disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Participate in school team meetings and provide ongoing support to foster student growth
