Qualifications:
- Active FL State License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related discipline
- Previous school-based experience with middle school populations preferred
- Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and all required credentialing promptly
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to grades 6–8 at a single middle school campus
- Evaluate and treat communication disorders, collaborating with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in family/staff meetings as needed
- Caseload details pending coordinator finalization
