Requirements:
- Valid FL State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Recent experience providing school-based SLP services (Grades 6–8 preferred)
- Ability to complete timely district-required credentialing (background check, fingerprinting, etc.)
- Availability for onsite work, beginning as soon as possible through May 2027
Responsibilities:
- Support middle school students (Grades 6–8) at a single campus in Winter Springs, FL
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with school teams
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and caseload management
- Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
