Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related field, or an AAS degree from an SLPA program
- Current, active SLPA certification/license
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain poised and effective during high-stress or crisis situations
- Willingness and capability to travel between school sites during the workday as required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services as outlined in each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs and multidisciplinary teams to track progress and tailor interventions
- Document services and maintain accurate, timely records
- Engage positively and empathetically with students, staff, and families
- Work exclusively onsite (virtual services are not an option)
- Ensure consistence by adhering to scheduled, guaranteed service hours
