Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field, or an AAS degree from an SLPA program
- Active SLPA license/certification
- Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills—especially during high-pressure or crisis situations
- Capacity to travel between school sites during the day as services may be provided at multiple locations
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Commitment to delivering onsite, in-person services
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services in accordance with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with supervising SLPs, following guidance and participating in ongoing supervision
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to facilitate student growth
- Travel to and work in multiple school settings as needed
- Maintain documentation and adhere to compliance standards
