School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Ysidro, California

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near San Ysidro, CA. This in-person opportunity runs from now through June 9, 2027, and offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 50-60 young learners, supporting their growth in communication and language skills. Each workday is 7 hours long (excluding a lunch break), with a weekly schedule totaling 35 paid hours.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC or eligible SLP with active license
- Bilingual skills strongly desired
- For non-credentialed SLPs:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State of California SLP license
- Certificate of Clearance posted on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website
- Current TB clearance
- Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district-provided form)
- If the master’s is from outside the USA, a CTC-approved equivalency report is required
- For credentialed SLPs:
- Credential posted on the CTC website
- Current TB clearance
- Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district form)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Committed to in-person instruction
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy to a caseload of elementary students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with education teams
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state standards
