This full-time contract role offers the chance to collaborate with two different educational locations while delivering meaningful support to both elementary and middle school students. The assignment runs from now through June 10, 2027, offering continuity and the chance to form long-lasting positive relationships with students and staff alike.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active California SLP license required
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for a range of language, speech, and communication challenges
- Able to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate progress with educators and families
- Proficient documentation and organizational skills
- Please note: SLPA credentials are not accepted; SLPs only
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students on assigned caseloads at both elementary and middle school sites
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Operate fully onsite throughout the contract
