Looking for an opportunity to utilize your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive and collaborative educational setting? Two part-time contract roles are available for dedicated SLP professionals ready to make a meaningful impact on student success. Both positions offer a chance to work within school-based teams, providing direct services and contributing to student growth and achievement.

Position 1: August 2024–December 2026 (Maternity Leave, 3 days/week) This contract assignment focuses on case management for the SLP caseload, including conducting assessments, developing IEPs, generating reports, and overseeing services provided by an SLPA.

Position 2: School Year (0.4 FTE/2 days/week) This role provides support for a K–5 caseload throughout the academic year, carrying out all traditional SLP responsibilities to ensure comprehensive communication support for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, including IEP development and progress monitoring, is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in a K–5 school population
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Oversee and support the work of SLPA as assigned
