Speech Language Pathologist in San Mateo, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience as a school-based SLP, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in-person during school hours
- Commitment to fostering student growth and upholding ethical clinical practice
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in accordance with school protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Provide direct therapy sessions and classroom-based support as needed
