Middle School Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lompoc, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification appropriate for work within California schools
- Prior experience serving elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices for educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse learning needs
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Provide direct therapy services for students with communication disorders
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, documenting progress and updating plans as needed
- Consult regularly with teachers and families to monitor student progress and adjust strategies
- Create engaging and effective activities that reinforce speech and language development
