Licensed Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buellton, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and state licensure
- Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
- Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling effectively
- Adaptability across different age groups and educational environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in alignment with current state and federal requirements
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to students in need of speech-language intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in relevant team meetings
- Consult with educational staff to support strategies for integrating communication skills into the classroom
- Provide resources and guidance to families to continue student support beyond school hours
