Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience providing school-based speech and language services
- Familiarity with IEP processes, developing treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable supervising SLPAs (if assigned)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech/language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ individual needs
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and complete required reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success strategies
- Supervise and support SLPAs as needed
