Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Mateo, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid, current licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings with children and adolescents
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 55 students across early childhood through middle school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Bilingual skills are preferred and highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students ages 3 through grade 8
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, document session notes, and participate in meetings as required
- Assess, diagnose, and regularly monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
