You’ll be providing speech-language pathology support while covering a maternity leave in a collaborative, specialized setting.

Work alongside an experienced SLP and SLPA, serving three medically fragile classrooms. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active state licensure as SLP-CCC or SLPA (open to both)
  • Previous experience working in a school environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in using AAC devices with children
  • Comfortable managing a medically fragile student caseload
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered services

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in three medically fragile classrooms
  • Collaborate closely with classroom staff, fellow SLPs, and families
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Monitor and document student progress, refining interventions as necessary
  • Support and educate staff on the effective use of AAC devices
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

This assignment offers weekly contracted hours between 32.5-35. Compensation for SLPAs integrates at $81.90 per hour and for SLPs ranges between $95 - $98 per hour, ensuring your dedication and expertise are highly valued.
