Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs also considered
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive reports documenting student progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ communication goals
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
