Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Delaware (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though strong clinical skills with children will be considered
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district standards
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Stay updated on best practices and continuing education relevant to school-based SLP services
