School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Smyrna, Delaware

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Strong evaluation, therapy, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that reflect targeted goals for each student
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups
- Monitor, record, and report student progress
- Communicate clearly with parents, teachers, and school staff to ensure alignment on student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
