Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in California)
- Experience delivering speech and language services in a school or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and goal setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students ranging from preschool through high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups, adapting interventions to maximize outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and participation in IEP meetings
- Contribute to prevention and early intervention by offering in-services and support to school staff
