Speech Language Pathologist in San Marcos, TX

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure as required for practice
- Experience providing therapy within school settings preferred
- Confidence managing a middle/high school caseload and conducting elementary evaluations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create inclusive, respectful, and progress-oriented learning spaces
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6–12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for elementary-aged children
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) that address student needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes per district and state guidelines
- Educate staff and caregivers on support strategies and student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to team discussions
