School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Austin, Texas

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity calls for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). You’ll play an integral part in helping students achieve their communication goals, supporting growth and learning across middle and high school caseloads, while also conducting elementary evaluations.
Key Requirements:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with school-age children and teens preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing a middle/high school caseload and elementary evaluations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, communication, and social/emotional needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations for elementary students as needed
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Provide resources, strategies, and training to staff and caregivers as appropriate
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at 37.5 hours each week, allowing for engagement with students, staff, and families throughout the school year.
