Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with both middle/high school caseloads and elementary evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in middle and high school
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for elementary students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure effective intervention and support
- Maintain accurate progress records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Stay current with best practices and continued education relevant to school-based therapy
