A rewarding contract opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in the San Juan Capistrano area. Three leave-of-absence roles are open in preschool, elementary, and middle school settings, each offering the chance to work with approximately 55 students per provider. Assignments are set to begin this fall, with full-time schedules across five days each week. High likelihood exists for these contracts to extend through the end of the academic year, as ongoing needs frequently arise.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current California SLP licensure in good standing
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to support diverse learners and adapt to varied caseloads and environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to students aged preschool through middle school
- Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Engage in IEP processes, consultations, and team meetings with staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support personnel to foster student growth
