Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP) or associate’s/bachelor’s degree in related field (for SLPA)
- Active and current California state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred for SLPs
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to students, either individually or in groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational staff to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school/district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress monitoring
- Consult with parents and caregivers about student goals and achievements
- Support other school initiatives or duties as assigned by administration
