Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice in California as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse group of students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and additional support staff to develop strategies that promote student success
- Prepare and submit progress reports as required throughout the contract term
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and state policies concerning speech-language services
