School Speech Language Pathologist - San Diego, CA

Step into an engaging school-based setting near San Diego, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and impacting young learners every day. With five openings available, you'll provide direct, in-person support to elementary students ranging from 50 to 60 on your caseload. Your schedule will run from July 27, 2026, through June 9, 2027, working 6.5 hours per day, totaling 32.5 hours per week across 180 school days. This is an ideal opportunity for driven SLPs eager to support communication and learning in a dynamic educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- For non-credentialed SLPs:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active CA state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) posted with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Negative TB clearance
- Livescan clearance completed using district guidelines
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children in person
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services according to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
