Your expertise will empower young learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), and Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD). No case management is expected, allowing you to focus exclusively on direct intervention and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active MN Department of Education SLP or SLPA license required
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and experienced school or clinical SLPs/SLPAs
- Background in working with K-8 students and special education populations preferred
- Team-oriented and adept at collaborating with educators and related service providers
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy within the Setting 4 program
- Develop and implement therapy activities tailored to students with ASD, DCD, and EBD
- Communicate student progress and strategies effectively with staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes, adhering to all program standards
- Engage in multidisciplinary team planning and ongoing professional development
