You’ll work in a setting 4 special education program, focusing on students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disability (DCD), and Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD). Enjoy collaborating with other dedicated professionals, all while having no case management responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA licensure through the Minnesota Department of Education required
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-8), especially within special education settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual student needs within group and one-on-one settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services and interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, maintain progress documentation, and participate in team meetings regarding student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student development
- Participate in school events and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
Position Details & Perks:
