Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Department of Education SLP license required
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY clinicians
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices, or a strong willingness to learn
- Compassionate communicator dedicated to serving high-need student populations
- Effective in adapting and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver individually tailored speech-language interventions
- Support students in developing communication skills with AAC systems
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to optimize student progress
- Document student performance and maintain compliance with all state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Provide consultative guidance for staff regarding AAC best practices
