Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Minnesota
- Eligible for, or hold, a Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) credential
- Experience with school-aged children, especially grades K-8, is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy services for students from kindergarten through 8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and track student progress
- Work closely with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for school staff regarding speech and language development and strategies
