A remote contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving PreK-12 students in Minnesota schools. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders while developing individualized plans to enhance communication skills. Providing direct therapy, collaborating with educators and families, and closely monitoring student progress are key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor and document student progress to inform ongoing therapy adjustments.
- Utilize teletherapy methods effectively in a virtual setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active or pending Minnesota SLP license.
- Minimum of two years of school-based SLP experience.
- Proficient with technology required for remote therapy including webcam and computer use.
- Ability to pass a technical screening and internet speed test.
- Liability insurance coverage of 500K/500K annually.
Position Details:
- Location: Remote, serving Minnesota school districts.
- Caseload options available for PreK through 12th grade.
- Full-time and part-time contract roles for the 2024-2025 school year.
