School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ellendale, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing vital support across elementary and secondary educational settings. You’ll work with a diverse caseload averaging around 50 students, providing direct services to both elementary-aged children and students with higher communication needs at the secondary level. Your expertise will enhance in-person SLP support, focusing on individualized and group therapy sessions and collaborating with educators to optimize student outcomes. Both SLP-CCC and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply, and experienced SLPAs will also be considered for this role.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Eligibility for or possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Onsite availability required for all service delivery
- Experience in school-based settings or working with children and adolescents preferred
- Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in person to students across multiple educational levels
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carry-over strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
