Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain (SLP or Audiology)
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments—open to travelers
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, or auditory disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students’ auditory and communication development
