As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CF/CCC), you will play a vital role across several campuses with a steady, full-time Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours weekly). Enjoy working in diverse settings—from early learners to graduating seniors—in Hazelwood (all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), and Jennings (all ages). Assignments are clustered to minimize travel between schools within the area.
Your expertise will empower students through diagnosis, treatment planning, and goal-focused therapy, fostering improved communication in both educational and social environments.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Current professional SLP license (CF or CCC status)
- Prior experience in pediatric, K-12, or school-based settings preferred
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with strong organizational skills
- Flexibility and commitment to working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening (required for credentialing)
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families for student-centered support
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with district and professional guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
- Offering support across multiple schools with minimal travel required
