Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Smithville, MO

Key Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP (or clinical fellowship eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for helping students reach their fullest potential
Role Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to middle school students
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Develop and update IEPs, maintaining compliance with regulations and best practices
• Track and report on student progress and provide recommendations for continued support
• Contribute positively to the school community and participate in team meetings
This contract assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through November 12, 2026, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students during a key period in the school year. The role is specifically in person, supporting students directly within the school—no teletherapy or VOCO required.
