Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP) or completion of an approved SLPA program (for SLPA)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure/certification during the assignment
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcome; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also considered
- School-based experience is highly valued, though strong pediatric or clinical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply
- Effective communication skills, passion for working with children, and a team-minded approach
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech, language, and communication services to students from preschool through 5th grade
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other support staff to ensure inclusive communication strategies
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to determine student eligibility for speech services
- Maintain detailed student records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team activities
