This contract opportunity spans from 08/17/2026 to 11/12/2026 and focuses on supporting students’ communication, language, and social skills during a crucial point in their academic journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience providing SLP services in a school environment, especially at the middle school level
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
- Ability to collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and support personnel
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct in-person therapy sessions to middle school students in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers, families, and administrators to promote carryover of skills
- Maintain detailed, confidential, and timely documentation of student progress and services
