Speech Language Pathologist in Rougemont, NC

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with elementary-aged children strongly desired
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop IEP goals and document student progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other educational professionals
- Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, tailored to students’ needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation according to school and legal requirements
- Educate and support teachers and families in strategies to foster language skills
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions as necessary for student success
